load sheets while coordinating the entire turnaround to protect safety and on-time performance.
The programme builds competence in mass & balance principles, aircraft limitations, loading
instructions (LIR), load and trim sheets, ULD/bulk loading rules, last-minute changes (LMC), and
control of ground teams at the stand. It is structured in line with recognised airline and ground
handling practices and aligned with the intent of IATA AHM/IGOM and ICAO safety principles.

- Explain load control concepts, aircraft mass definitions, and centre-of-gravity (C of G) principles.
- Interpret aircraft loading manuals/data (compartment limits, positions, indexes, MAC%, stabiliser trim guidance – awareness level).
- Implement quality standards (e.g., ISO 22483) and brand service protocols.
- Produce, check, and release load & trim sheets (manual or DCS/e-system) in accordance with airline requirements.
- Manage last-minute changes (LMCs), late bags, and no-shows without compromising safety or OTP.
- Coordinate the overall turnaround process – arrival to departure – ensuring all services are completed and the aircraft is “ready for push”.
- Document actions and maintain an auditable trail for airline, GHA, or authority checks.

Entry Requirements
- Prior exposure to airport/ground handling operations is strongly recommended.
- Good numerical ability and attention to detail.
- English for aviation operations (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent suggested).

- Coordination with gate, passenger services, and ramp for amended loading
- Turnaround milestones (on-blocks, chocks, servicing, fuelling, loading, boarding, doors closed, off-blocks)
- Managing multiple stakeholders: ramp, fuelling, catering, cleaning, flight crew and ATC/airport ops
- Delay codes and reporting

- Misload/overload/incorrect index incidents – reporting and learning
