Whitestone International Diploma in Human Resource Management

The diploma introduces the core dimensions of workforce planning, recruitment and selection, HR operations and records, performance management, learning and development support, reward awareness, employee relations at conceptual level, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion awareness, and basic HR data use.

Course Overview

The Whitestone International Diploma in Human Resource Management is a 12-month vocational programme designed to provide a structured, practice-oriented foundation in managing people, supporting organisational performance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

The diploma introduces the core dimensions of workforce planning, recruitment and selection, HR operations and records, performance management, learning and development support, reward awareness, employee relations at conceptual level, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion awareness, and basic HR data use. It is designed for individuals who hold, or aspire to hold, administrative, coordinating, or junior HR roles in organisations across sectors.

Learners will explore how HR professionals support line managers and leadership in attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining employees, while upholding organisational policies, professionalism, and ethical standards. Emphasis is placed on practical HR administration and coordination skills, not on detailed legal interpretation or jurisdiction-specific employment law.

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to contribute effectively to HR operations, recruitment activities, performance and development processes, and people-related projects, working in partnership with managers and staff.

This diploma is vocational and non-regulated. It does not provide legal advice, does not qualify learners as lawyers, and does not confer chartered HR status. Local labour laws, regulations, and professional body requirements must always be followed and interpreted by appropriately qualified specialists.
