Whitestone International Diploma in Health and Wellness Coaching

The programme covers the full health and wellness coaching spectrum: foundations of health and wellbeing, coaching mindset and professional role, communication and motivational techniques, behaviour-change models at non-clinical level, lifestyle pillars (movement, sleep, stress, relationships, and basic nutrition awareness), goal-setting.

Course Overview

The Whitestone International Diploma in Health and Wellness Coaching is a 12-month vocational programme designed to provide a structured, practice-oriented foundation in supporting clients to improve their health and wellbeing through non-clinical coaching, lifestyle education, and behaviour-change support.

The programme covers the full health and wellness coaching spectrum: foundations of health and wellbeing, coaching mindset and professional role, communication and motivational techniques, behaviour-change models at non-clinical level, lifestyle pillars (movement, sleep, stress, relationships, and basic nutrition awareness), goal-setting and accountability, group and programme delivery, ethics, and referral responsibilities. It is intended for individuals who support, or aspire to support, health and wellness coaching, lifestyle-change programmes, corporate wellbeing initiatives, community health promotion, and non-clinical health-support roles.

Learners will explore how health and wellness coaches build trust, help clients clarify values and goals, co-create realistic action plans, support adherence, and collaborate with qualified health professionals, always respecting boundaries and scope of practice. The emphasis is on coaching and educational support, not on medical treatment, mental-health therapy, diagnosis, or prescriptive diet or exercise programming.

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to contribute effectively to one-to-one and small-group wellness coaching, lifestyle-change programmes, wellbeing workshops, and workplace or community health initiatives, working alongside doctors, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other licensed professionals.

This diploma is vocational and non-regulated. It does not qualify learners as medical doctors, nurses, dietitians, nutritionists, physiotherapists, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, or clinical counsellors, and does not authorise them to diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental-health conditions, prescribe medication, prescribe clinical diets or exercise programmes, or provide regulated healthcare. All such specialised and regulated activities must only be undertaken by appropriately qualified and authorised professionals, in full compliance with national laws, professional codes, and organisational policies.
