Professional Diploma in Climate Risk, Adaptation & Organisational Resilience (Enterprise-wide Integration)
This diploma develops end-to-end capability to integrate climate risk, adaptation, and
organisational resilience across strategy, risk, operations, supply chain, and technology.
Course Overview
This diploma develops end-to-end capability to integrate climate risk, adaptation, and
organisational resilience across strategy, risk, operations, supply chain, and technology. Learners
connect disclosure frameworks (TCFD / ISSB IFRS S2) with standards-based operating disciplines (ISO
14090/14091 for adaptation, ISO 22301 for business continuity, ISO 27031 for IT disaster recovery,
ISO 22320 for incident coordination), using NGFS scenarios to inform decisions. Graduates leave
with a board-ready resilience blueprint, investment cases, and an execution roadmap.
Why This Course is Important?
- Enterprise value protection: Reduces downtime, financial loss, and liability from physical and transition risks.
- Regulatory and investor confidence: Converts disclosure expectations into verifiable capabilities and evidence.
- Operational excellence: Aligns strategy, governance, data, and plans into one coherent resilience operating model.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
- Embed climate risk within ERM, strategy, and capital planning; define appetites, KRIs, and management actions.
- Conduct vulnerability, impact and risk assessments (ISO 14091) using appropriate scenario inputs (NGFS/IPCC awareness).
- Design adaptation portfolios (green/grey solutions) with CBA/MCA and adaptive pathway triggers.
- Build and run an ISO 22301-aligned BCMS: BIA, continuity strategies, exercising, and management review.
- Integrate IT DR & cyber resilience (ISO 27031 awareness) and supply-chain resilience (ISO 22318 awareness).
